XLRI’s XOL Fest Utsaah’24 Ignites Cultural and Creative Spirit

"Utsaah" Unites XLRI Community with a Blend of Sports, Comedy, and Music

XLRI’s Postgraduate Diploma in Management batch, XOL-24, successfully inaugurated "Utsaah," a festival that epitomizes the richness of cultural diversity, creativity, and the power of camaraderie. The event set a vibrant precedent for fostering a strong community spirit and showcased the dynamic talents within the XLRI student body.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Class of XOL-24 at XLRI introduced "Utsaah," their inaugural cultural fest, characterized by a series of events that emphasized the significance of cultural activities in nurturing teamwork and creativity among students.

Dr. Sanjay Patro, the Academic Dean, warmly welcomed attendees, setting a positive tone for the event.

The fest demonstrated a splendid array of performances, highlighting the vibrant spirit prevalent within the XLRI community.

"Education and cultural understanding are imperative in today’s interconnected world," stated Rural SP Mr. Rishabh Garg (IPS), inspiring students to strive for excellence in both academic and social contributions.

Dr. Patro, reflecting on the festival’s success, noted, "Utsaah’24 has indeed elevated the standard for cultural festivals, merging academic rigor with the celebration of cultural diversity."

The event kicked off with a laughter-filled evening thanks to a stand-up comedy performance by Satyabrat Mohapatra.

The festival continued with a day dedicated to sportsmanship, featuring cricket and badminton semi-finals and finals, along with team-building squad games.

Attendees relished a journey back to their childhood through "Ritik Relaxed Lawn Games," offering a delightful escape into simpler times.

The "XOL Spotlight" cultural showcase highlighted the array of talents within the XLRI community, while The Bandish Project’s band performance capped off the evening with their mesmerizing music fusion.

A Night of Laughter and Joy

Satyabrat Mohapatra’s stand-up comedy act was not just a performance but a moment of unity for the XLRI community, showcasing the healing power of humor.

"Laughter truly is the universal language of the XLRI community," Mohapatra remarked, encapsulating the essence of the evening.
