Loyola School in Jamshedpur kick-started the academic year for its senior section with a vibrant assembly on March 18, highlighting the themes of collaboration and cultural identity.
JAMSHEDPUR – The assembly began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Fathers and Vice-Principals, symbolizing enlightenment and the journey ahead.
An enchanting dance dedicated to Lord Ganesha marked the event’s auspicious start, followed by a Buddhist meditation session aimed at fostering inner peace among students.
A focal point of the assembly was the celebration of the school’s diverse cultural heritage, demonstrated through a group song that beautifully melded Bengali Christian melodies with spiritual devotion.
This was complemented by a soulful Gurbani recitation, further showcasing the school’s rich cultural tapestry.
An impactful rendition of Swamy Vivekananda’s speech provided students with timeless wisdom and inspiration for their educational voyage.
The assembly was a mosaic of prayers from different faiths, including a Sarna prayer advocating for a harmonious relationship with nature, an Islamic prayer, and a Vandana to Goddess Saraswati, enhancing the spiritual ambiance.
The powerful presentation of Tagore’s “Ekla Cholo Re” underscored the importance of individuality and courage, leaving a profound impact on the attendees.
