JAMSHEDPUR – On Tuesday night, the Dhalbhum Club in Sakchi became a hub of Rajasthani culture as it hosted a belated Rajasthan Day celebration, organized by the District Marwari Conference.

The event featured artists from Kolkata, who performed an array of Rajasthani folk songs and music, enchanting the gathered crowd.

Attendees enjoyed a full experience of Rajasthani traditions, including camel rides specifically arranged for children’s entertainment.

Various stalls showcased Rajasthani products, while others offered a taste of the region’s distinctive cuisine, which was a hit among the visitors.

The organizers explained that the official Rajasthan Day falls on March 30, but due to the proximity of Holi and the Khatu Shyam fair, the celebration was rescheduled.

This gathering drew people from the Marwari community across the district, emphasizing community ties and cultural heritage.

An active member of the District Marwari Conference expressed that the aim of the event was to help Rajasthani children connect with their cultural roots.
