JAMSHEDPUR – The Rabindra Bhawan Complex in Sakchi was filled with fervor as Tagore’s 163rd birth anniversary unfolded.
A Prabhat Pheri kicked off the celebration, starting at 5:30 am in the Tagore Society yard and winding through notable city landmarks.
Students and faculty from the Tagore School of Arts and Tagore Academy participated.
Tagore Society President Dr. H.S. Pal and Vice President Dr. Gautam Dasgupta emphasized the poet’s immense impact on humanity.
In the evening, students and teachers from the Tagore School of Arts brought Tagore’s creations to life.
Their renditions of Rabindra Sangeet captured the essence of his timeless compositions.
General Secretary Ashis Chowdhury highlighted the importance of connecting youth with Tagore’s rich legacy.
The festivities continue with dance performances and musical renditions, highlighting Tagore’s profound influence.
