TATA-ERS Express Frequency to be Increased from March 7

The TATA-ERS-TATA Exp. train frequency changes from bi-weekly to daily, enhancing travel options between Tatanagar and Ernakulam.

JAMSHEDPUR – Following a series of communications and decisions by railway authorities, the frequency of the 18189/18190 TATA-ERS-TATA Exp. will be increased.

Originally operating bi-weekly, it will now run daily starting from 07.03.2024 ex Tatanagar and 10.03.2024 ex Ernakulam.

This change follows directives from the Railway Board and related office memorandums.

The CPTM/SR’s letter and subsequent office communications have paved the way for this enhancement.

The decision aims to improve connectivity and cater to the growing demand for travel between these cities.

The expansion reflects the railways’ commitment to enhancing passenger service and accessibility.

For travelers, this means more flexibility and convenience in planning journeys between Tatanagar and Ernakulam.

The adjustment in schedule is expected to facilitate smoother travel experiences for a wider audience.

The change is part of ongoing efforts to standardize and improve train services across the network.

Passengers are advised to check the revised schedule and plan their trips accordingly.

This enhancement is anticipated to bolster tourism and commerce between the regions.

The railway’s initiative demonstrates a proactive approach to addressing the needs of the traveling public.

The move is welcomed by commuters, who have long sought increased frequency on this route.

Shashank Shekhar Swain, a member of Indian Railways Fan Club and IndiaRailInfo has welcomed the decision and said that this step was long due and would go a long way to benefit the passengers planning to head to the southern part of the country.
