Gulmohur High School’s Arya Shekhar earns the Inspire Award for his pioneering technology project, enhancing accessibility and innovation.
JAMSHEDPUR – Arya Shekhar, a bright young mind from Gulmohur High School, has been distinguished with the Inspire Award for his inventive project, ‘Gesture-Controlled Car with ESP32 and MPU6050’.
The Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, acknowledged Shekhar’s contribution to technology with this prestigious accolade.
His project introduces an interactive robotic vehicle that users can control through hand gestures, thanks to the ESP32 microcontroller and MPU6050 sensor.
This innovative blend of technology offers a new, intuitive way to navigate, broadening its applicability in education, research, and entertainment.
The gesture-controlled car is particularly noteworthy for its potential to assist individuals with disabilities, highlighting the project’s inclusivity.
Recognizing Shekhar’s ingenuity, the government awarded him a cash prize of Rs. 10,000 along with the Inspire Award.
