Ranchi RBI Organizes Awareness Program for Seraikela Police
The RBI’s sensitization program in Seraikela focused on unauthorized deposits, financial frauds, and complaint mechanisms.
JAMSHEDPUR – The Reserve Bank of India’s Ranchi Regional Office recently hosted a Police Sensitization Program for law enforcement officials in Seraikela.
Key RBI representatives included Arvind Ekka, Rashmi Priya, and Kumud Kumar, led by Regional Director Shri Prem Ranjan Prasad Singh.
The initiative was designed to educate police officers on tackling unauthorized deposits and financial fraud.
A total of 40 police station in-charges, along with senior police officials from Seraikela, attended the event.
The program highlighted the BUDS Act 2019, among other legal frameworks, to combat financial crimes.
Officials were briefed on the RBI’s complaint redressal mechanisms, including the Integrated Lokpal Scheme and Sachet Portal.
The meeting served as a platform for discussing strategies to address financial fraudulence and enhance legal understanding among the police force.
