Weather Warning in Effect Until Feb 15, Ranchi Experiences Waterlogging
Heavy rain disrupts life in Jharkhand’s capital Ranchi and other districts, attributed to ongoing Western Disturbance weather patterns. Ranchi experiences waterlogged roads causing commuter trouble since Monday night.
RANCHI – Jharkhand’s Meteorological Department forecasts continued rainfall until February 15th.
Temperatures drop across the state while minimum temperatures rise, impacting normal routines and vegetable crops.
Ranchi remains overcast throughout Wednesday, heavy rain follows a brief clear period in the late afternoon. While Ranchi’s maximum temperature was near 19 Celsius on Tuesday, minimums rose to 16 Celsius. Jamshedpur and Daltonganj reported minimums around 16 Celsius.
Residents are urged to exercise caution amidst thunderstorms across Jharkhand. Seek safe shelter, avoid trees and electrical infrastructure. Farmers are advised to avoid fields and use of electrical equipment until weather normalizes.
