Ananya Mittal steps into the role of Deputy Commissioner in East Singhbhum, pledging smooth elections and effective welfare scheme implementation.
JAMSHEDPUR – Ananya Mittal, with a history of contributions across various districts, has promised to leverage his diverse experience to advance development and welfare initiatives.
During his tenure, Mittal plans to utilize his past experiences in the district and other administrative roles to enhance development efforts.
Highlighting his priorities, Mittal emphasized maintaining law and order and ensuring timely implementation of central and state welfare schemes.
Officials from various departments were present during Mittal’s assumption of duties, underlining the collaborative effort ahead for district governance.
Manjunath Bhajantri, the predecessor, now oversees the Subarnarekha Project, following his reassignment from election duties by the Election Commission.
The Election Commission’s restrictions on Bhajantri prompted Deputy Development Commissioner Manish Kumar to lead election preparations.
Bhajantri’s exclusion from election work dates back to the Madhupur bye-election period when he served as the Deputy Commissioner of Godda district.
Mittal, addressing the media, committed to conducting Lok Sabha and Assembly elections successfully and ensuring the execution of public welfare schemes.
Ananya Mittal, a 2015 batch IAS officer, officially became the new deputy commissioner of East Singhbhum on Wednesday, succeeding Manjunath Bhajantri.
