MLA Funds Fuel Infrastructure Enhancements in Jamshedpur
Eastern Assembly constituency’s MLA, Saryu Roy, has set in motion a series of development projects, marking a significant investment in local infrastructure and community facilities.
JAMSHEDPUR – A new stadium, poised to become a local hub for sports and recreation, is underway near Birsanagar, Sidhu-Kanhu Chowk, thanks to a Rs 1.14 crore allocation by MLA Saryu Roy.
This initiative was complemented by the laying of foundation stones for various other schemes, including the beautification of Golmuri Rajendra Bhavan and enhancements to local road and sanitation infrastructure, all funded through the 15th Commission and additional MLA funds totaling about Rs 15 lakh.
The projects also encompass the installation of paver blocks along the route from behind New DS Flat Kerala Public School to Gadhabasa, Golmuri, and the construction of a new toilet near Shri Laxminarayan Temple, Cable Town.
Roy expressed optimism that the stadium would provide a JRD Tata Sports Complex-like facility to the Birsanagar area residents, fostering sportsmanship and active living.
He emphasized the importance of quality and timely completion for all the schemes, reflecting a commitment to enhancing the constituency’s infrastructure.
The announcement follows a series of scheme inaugurations and foundation stone layings by Roy, totaling over Rs 2 crore, aimed at improving local amenities and infrastructure, including open gyms, road improvements, and public toilets across various locations in the constituency.
These efforts underscore Roy’s dedication to the constituency’s development, promising improved facilities and a better quality of life for its residents.
