JAMSHEDPUR – Jugsalai Rishi Bhawan in Jamshedpur is set to come alive with festivities as the Shri Rajasthani Brahmin Sangh gears up to celebrate the birth anniversary of Lord Parshuram on Akshaya Tritiya, May 10.
The celebrations will kick off with a drawing competition for children on May 5, divided into three age categories: 5-7 years, 8-11 years, and 12-17 years.
This event aims to encourage young talents and foster creativity among the community’s budding artists.
On the day of Akshaya Tritiya, May 10, a special competition for women will be held at 4 pm, providing a platform for them to showcase their skills and talents.
The highlight of the day will be the worship of Lord Parshuram, scheduled to take place at 11:30 am.
Devotees will gather to seek blessings and pay their respects to the revered deity.
Following the worship, children will take center stage at 6 pm with a series of captivating cultural programs, showcasing their artistic prowess and adding to the festive atmosphere.
The winners of the various competitions will be honored with prizes, acknowledging their outstanding performances and encouraging them to continue their pursuits.
