Manoj Kumar Pandey, a security guard in Adityapur, was found hanging at his home on Tuesday afternoon.
JAMSHEDPUR – Manoj Kumar Pandey, a 30-year-old security guard from SriDungri Hariom Nagar, Adityapur, was found hanging in his home on Tuesday afternoon.
Manoj worked for SIS Security Agency.
His brother, Suresh Pandey, shared that he left for work in the morning while their parents and Manoj stayed home.
Manoj had asked his mother to wake him up in the afternoon.
When she went to his room around 12:30 PM, she found him hanging.
Neighbors helped bring Manoj down and rushed him to MGM Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
According to the family, Manoj was reportedly distressed due to pressure from a romantic relationship for marriage.
The family and community are in shock.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
