JAMSHEDPUR – At Hemkund Public School, the emphasis on molding students into responsible citizens and good individuals is being taken to a new level with the introduction of a ‘Values Week’ program.
Paras Nath Mishra, the school’s director, has established a Values Team, composed of five teachers, to guide students in daily practice of good behavior.
This initiative is part of a broader effort to embed essential values in students through regular engagement and practice.
The program focuses on encouraging children to perform three acts of kindness daily, promoting an attitude of gratitude.
Children are encouraged to start their day by showing appreciation to their parents, nature, and all who assist them, fostering an environment of gratitude and water conservation.
The ‘Values Week’ revolves around seven key behaviors, with a special focus on gratitude for the current week.
Mishra highlights the importance of lifestyle, perspective, and behavior as the foundations of success, underlining the school’s commitment to nurturing these aspects in students.
Through this innovative program, Hemkund Public School aims to reinforce the daily practice of good behavior among students, ensuring the development of positive values.
This educational approach reflects the school’s dedication to preparing students for success in life by fostering good values and behaviors from a young age.
