Tata Steel UISL commits to a cleanliness drive in Cable Town, Golmuri, addressing local health and sanitation concerns.

JAMSHEDPUR – In response to concerns raised by Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy regarding the need for improved sanitation, Tata Steel UISL has announced a comprehensive cleanliness initiative for the Cable Town locality in Golmuri.

This initiative comes on the heels of Roy’s appeal to Tata Steel’s Vice President (Corporate Services), emphasizing the importance of addressing the sanitary and health needs of the Cable Town residents through the cleaning of sewers and drains.

Tata Steel, known for its contribution to the community through the provision of essential amenities like water supply and public facilities, is now extending its services to include a targeted cleaning drive.

The effort is part of the company’s ongoing commitment to the well-being of the communities within which it operates, ensuring that Cable Town’s residents benefit from improved living conditions.

The cleaning drive is set against the backdrop of Tata Steel’s efforts to provide electricity to every household in Cable Town, marking the final stages of a broader initiative to enhance the locality’s infrastructure.

MLA Saryu Roy’s letter to Tata Steel highlighted the necessity of such initiatives for the betterment of Cable Town, advocating for a clean and healthy environment as a priority for the local community.

With the cleanliness drive, Tata Steel UISL demonstrates its dedication to not only the infrastructural but also the environmental and health aspects of community development in Jamshedpur.
