JAMSHEDPUR – Jharkhand marked a significant triumph in the Ranji Trophy’s Elite Group A, outclassing Manipur by an innings and 102 runs at Jamshedpur’s Keenan Stadium, securing seven valuable points in the process.

Jharkhand clinched seven points, leaving Manipur without any, as they dominated the Elite Group A match with a comprehensive victory.

Brief scores highlight Jharkhand’s strategic declaration at 504/5, leading to a commanding lead over Manipur, who scored 170 and 232 in their innings.

Pankaj Raunak of Jharkhand played a pivotal role, taking 4 wickets for 22 runs in 14.3 overs, undermining Manipur’s effort to build a competitive total in their second innings.

Manipur’s Keishangbam Langlonyamba Meitan’s valiant 88 runs from 157 balls, featuring 12 boundaries and a six, showcased resilience but could not steer his team away from defeat.
