In Ranchi’s Nagri, a grocery shopkeeper named Maniraj Kesari narrowly escapes a shooting incident, prompting a police search for the absconding criminals.
RANCHI – In the Nagri police station area of Ranchi, a grocery shopkeeper, Maniraj Kesari, miraculously survived a shooting incident in Kudlong Basti.
He reported being fired upon by unknown assailants, with one bullet grazing past his ear.
Maniraj, who sustained minor injuries, is currently receiving medical care at a private hospital.
Following the attack, the perpetrators, identified as four individuals, fled the scene on two motorcycles.
Maniraj, bewildered by the attack, informed the police of his lack of enmity with anyone, emphasizing his confusion over the motive.
The police, led by Nagari police station in-charge Rohit Kumar, promptly initiated an investigation upon receiving news of the incident.
Efforts to apprehend the criminals include scrutinizing CCTV footage from the area and conducting interrogations with Maniraj and other local residents.
This alarming incident has raised concerns in the community, with the police working diligently to locate and apprehend the assailants.
