Patriotic Celebrations at Loyola School Telco Honor Republic Day
Loyola School Telco’s 75th Republic Day celebrations showcased students’ nationalism through cultural performances and patriotic fervor.
JAMSHEDPUR – Loyola School Telco in Jamshedpur celebrated the 75th Republic Day with a profound display of nationalism and patriotic spirit.
Students from various classes engaged in a series of performances, promoting the theme of unity in diversity, resonating with the principles of the Indian Constitution.
The event was honored by the presence of Loyola School Bistupur alumnus, Vivek Jha, who served as the chief guest.
Jha, in his address, inspired the students to strive for excellence and take pride in their Indian identity.
He emphasized the importance of maintaining India’s unity and dignity, both in actions and words, for the benefit of future generations.
Notable attendees at the flag hoisting ceremony included Principal Charanjit Ohson, Administrator Father Gerry, Academic Coordinator Zeenat Maria Sundi, Primary Section Moderator Colleen Xavier, and other dignitaries and alumni of Loyola School, Jamshedpur.
The event commenced with a welcoming speech by Reyan Zaffar, a student of class 7 C.
The school choir’s patriotic song electrified the atmosphere, enveloping the campus in a wave of enthusiasm.
Students Ayesha Saini of class 6 B and Trisha Roy of class 6 A delivered impactful speeches in Hindi and English, underlining the significance of Republic Day.
Younger students, Aadya Das and Aanvi Kumari from class 5B, paid tribute to the nation with their recitations of sonnets in Hindi and Urdu.
The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks from Ayanna Majumder, a student of class 8A.
Father Gerry reflected on the event’s impact and noted that the celebration awakened the students’ sense of patriotism with love and respect for the country. He also said that the event highlighted the event’s success in instilling a sense of national pride among the students.
