Aditya Birla Group welcomes XLRI Jamshedpur alumnus Mr. Ashok Ramachandran as its new Director HR, marking a significant leap in his 34-year distinguished career in human resources and leadership.

JAMSHEDPUR – Mr. Ashok Ramachandran, an esteemed alumnus of PMIR Batch 1987-1989 at XLRI Jamshedpur, has recently been appointed as the Director HR at Aditya Birla Group.

His appointment reflects his unwavering dedication to human resources and leadership excellence.

With a career spanning over 34 years, Mr. Ramachandran brings to the table an extensive background in HR.

He has held notable positions, including Director – Human Resources at Vodafone and Senior Vice President – Human Resources at Tata AIA Life Insurance.

His tenure at GE Money as Vice President further underscores his diverse experience.

Significantly, his journey in HR began at Asian Paints in 1989, where he ultimately became the factory manager at the Ankleshwar plant.

Aditya Birla Group, a global powerhouse operating in 40 countries and employing over 140,000 people, faces the challenge of managing a vast talent pool.
