Bistupur Hosts Tribute to Iconic Freedom Fighter

Jamshedpur Mahila Samiti honors Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose with a statue installation at Q Road, Bistupur, commemorating his 127th birth anniversary.

JAMSHEDPUR – A new statue of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose now stands proudly within the grounds of the Jamshedpur Mahila Samiti at Q Road in Bistupur.

Shekhar Day, Vice President of Subhash Sanskriti Parishad and Director of Sreeleathers, led the unveiling ceremony on Wednesday.

The event witnessed the presence of Jyotsna Day, Bithika Roy, Preetilekha Roy, Purabi Ghosh, and Jharna Kar, who collectively paid homage to the freedom fighter with floral tributes.

Jyotsna Day, representing the Jamshedpur Mahila Samiti, delivered an inspiring address about Netaji’s life and legacy.

She encouraged the attending students to follow in the footsteps of the celebrated leader.

The installation of the statue marks a significant tribute to Netaji’s invaluable contributions and his enduring legacy in India’s freedom struggle.
