Jamshedpur FC’s thrilling win against Kerala Blasters in the Kalinga Super Cup 2024 has secured them a spot in the semi-finals, in a match filled with suspense and dramatic turns.

BHUBANESWAR – Jamshedpur FC emerged victorious in a gripping match against Kerala Blasters, earning their place in the Kalinga Super Cup 2024 semi-finals.

The match began with high intensity, marked by a near goal from Daniel Chima Chukwu of Jamshedpur FC in the 16th minute.

Kerala Blasters FC took the lead with a penalty converted by Diamantakos in the 28th minute.

Undeterred, Chima equalized for Jamshedpur FC in the 33rd minute, turning the game’s momentum.

The second half saw strategic changes, with Alen Stevanovic and Steve Ambri substituting for Jamshedpur FC.

A collaborative effort between Alen and Chima in the 57th minute put Jamshedpur FC ahead.

Kerala Blasters FC quickly equalized with another penalty by Diamantakos.

Injury led to Sanan replacing Alen for Jamshedpur FC in the 66th minute.

The decisive moment came when Chima earned a penalty for Jamshedpur FC, converted by Jeremy Manzorro in the 68th minute.

Late substitutions added fresh dynamics, with Jitendra Singh replacing Imran Khan for Jamshedpur FC.

In a dramatic turn, Chima received a red card in the 90+4 minute, intensifying the final moments of the match.

Goalkeeper TP Rehenesh’s critical save in the 90+6 minute against a free-kick sealed Jamshedpur FC’s victory.

Daniel Chima Chukwu was fittingly named the Kalinga Player of the Match for his pivotal role in the win.
