Domuhani Ghat Cleanup for Tusu Festival Inspected by MP Mahato

MP Bidyut Baran Mahato’s recent inspection at Domuhani Ghat in Sonari ensures cleanliness and readiness for the upcoming Tusu festival.

JAMSHEDPUR – MP Bidyut Baran Mahato conducted an inspection of Domuhani Ghat in Sonari in preparation for the Tusu festival, overseeing the ongoing cleaning operations.

He provided specific instructions to officials and staff on the site to ensure thorough cleanup.

This initiative follows Mahato’s previous communication with the Deputy Commissioner of East Singhbhum, emphasizing the need for cleanliness at all river ghats and reservoirs for Tusu and Makar Sankranti celebrations.

The Deputy Commissioner had informed Mahato about the guidelines issued to municipal bodies to guarantee the cleanliness of these areas.

During his visit, Mahato observed that the cleaning efforts were underway as planned.

He had also requested the Executive Engineer of the Swarnarekha Project to ensure adequate water flow in the river for Makar Parv, which was confirmed during the inspection.

The visit saw the presence of several workers, including BJP Mandal President Prashant Poddar, accompanying MP Mahato.

This inspection highlights the commitment of the local administration and leaders to maintain the sanctity and cleanliness of religious sites, especially during significant festivals like Tusu.
