Golden Baby League Finale: Jamshedpur FC Celebrates Youth Football

Jamshedpur FC’s Golden Baby League, India’s longest baby league, concludes on January 7, 2024, at Tata Football Academy.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Tata Football Academy ground in Jamshedpur is set to host the grand finale of the Jamshedpur Golden Baby League, the nation’s longest baby league, on January 7, 2024.

Initiated on February 26, 2023, the 10-month-long league underscores Jamshedpur’s dedication to fostering young football talents.

Kundan Chandra, Head of Grassroots, highlighted the league’s role in laying the foundation for future footballers and fostering a deep connection with the sport.

The league witnessed the participation of 106 teams comprising 971 students from five Jamshedpur FC Grassroots Football Schools.

Throughout the league, young footballers played for a total of 11,928 minutes and scored an impressive 1,525 goals.

Mukul Choudhari, CEO of Jamshedpur FC, expressed pride in organizing the extensive league and gratitude to participants and parents.

The finale’s fixtures include various age categories, from under-5 to under-13, featuring teams like SAGAR STAR, LOYOLA TIK-TOK, and JAMSHEDPUR SUPER KINGS.

This finale is not just a competition, but a celebration of the efforts, skills, and sportsmanship of these young athletes.

The event promises to be a vibrant showcase of emerging football talent, reflecting the city’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of sports stars.
