Local Community Distributes Invites for Shri Ram Temple Event with Traditional Rituals
Residents of New and Old Cable Town, Jamshedpur, distribute Akshat and invitations for Shri Ram Temple consecration event.
JAMSHEDPUR – In a unique community effort, residents of New and Old Cable Town in Jamshedpur have begun distributing Akshat, invitation cards, and pictures of the Shri Ram Temple from Ayodhya, inviting locals to the temple’s consecration.
This distribution cum invitation program was led by prominent social workers including Shiv Shankar Singh, Anil Kumar Thakur, and Bipin Jha.
During the event, the enthusiastic team chanted "Jai Shri Ram," creating a festive atmosphere in the neighborhoods.
Women played a significant role in the team, actively participating in the distribution and sharing detailed information about the invitation.
The program encourages residents to light at least five lamps in their homes on the evening of January 22, chant Lord Shri Ram’s name 108 times, perform Aarti, and celebrate Diwali by distributing Prasad.
This initiative aims to foster community spirit and devotion through collective participation in religious traditions.
