Jharkhand BJP Criticizes Hemant Government on Job Promises and Security Failures
BJP accuses Jharkhand’s Hemant Soren government of betraying public trust with unfulfilled job promises and security lapses, highlighting recent threats to a newspaper editor.
JAMSHEDPUR – In a striking criticism, Kunal Sarangi, BJP Jharkhand state spokesperson, slammed the Hemant Soren-led government for its perceived failure in fulfilling job promises and ensuring security.
BJP’s Sarangi questions the Hemant government’s shift from job creation to pension plans, alleging this as a tactic to mask its four-year failures.
The spokesperson highlighted the government’s unfulfilled promise of 5 lakh jobs, questioning the rationale behind prioritizing pensions over employment.
Sarangi expressed concern over the Hemant government’s decision to implement caste-based pensions at 50 years, asking why it’s limited to only certain communities.
The BJP spokesperson condemned the recent threat made to a newspaper editor from Birsa Munda Central Jail, labeling it a government failure in maintaining law and order.
He criticized the increasing criminal incidents in Jharkhand, attributing them to the Hemant government’s lax approach towards security.
Sarangi accused the Hemant government of neglecting the interests of Jharkhand’s youth, women, farmers, and tribal communities.
He warned that the current government’s actions have led to widespread agitation among various communities in the state.
The BJP representative predicted a strong public response against the Hemant government in the upcoming Lok Sabha and Assembly elections.
Sarangi’s remarks come as the Hemant government completes four years in power, facing opposition attacks over unmet promises and governance issues.
