Inaugural Para Yogasana Championship Sees 80 Participants in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur becomes the venue for the first-ever Para Yogasana Sports Championship, attracting 80 participants from 23 Jharkhand districts.

JAMSHEDPUR – Jamshedpur city witnessed the first Para Yogasana Sports Championship, a landmark event organized by the Yogasana Sports Association of Jharkhand and CII Young Indians.

The championship, marking its inaugural edition, saw enthusiastic participation from about 80 competitors across 23 districts of Jharkhand.

State Coordinator of Jharkhand Para Yogasana Sports Promotion Committee, Shubham Yadav, highlighted the significance of hosting the first Para Yogasana event in Jamshedpur.

The event took place at Agrasen Bhawan near Sakchi Mango Garden.

Key contributors to the event’s success included Ankita Naredi, Shilpa Dhanuka, Mridul Goyal, and Kaushik Modi from CII Young Indians.

Sanjay Singh, President of the Yogasan Sports Association of Jharkhand, and General Secretary Bipin Kumar Pandey played pivotal roles in this historic event.

The championship, divided into three categories, represents a hopeful avenue for children practicing yoga, who anticipate support from the Jharkhand government for further success in this field.

This championship not only promotes sports inclusivity but also emphasizes the importance of yoga in enhancing physical and mental well-being.
