Railways to Enhance Passenger Comfort by Adding Coaches in Key Trains

Indian Railways announces additional coaches in several trains, enhancing travel comfort in January 2024.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Indian Railways is set to enhance passenger experience by augmenting services in January 2024.

This development involves adding an additional coach to several key trains.

Starting January 1st, the Bhubaneswar-Howrah Express (Train No. 12074) and its return service (Train No. 12073) will each receive one extra General Chair Car.

Similarly, the Puri-Shalimar Express (Train No. 12822) and its return service (Train No. 12821) will also be equipped with an additional General Chair Car.

The Puri-Shalimar Express (Train No. 18410) and the Shalimar-Puri Express (Train No. 18409) will benefit from one extra Sleeper Class coach.

Furthermore, the Shalimar-Sambalpur Express (Train No. 22803) will have an added Sleeper Class coach, though this will be until January 27th, not the entire month.

This strategic move aims to accommodate the growing passenger demand and improve travel convenience on these popular routes.

The Indian Railways, known for its extensive network and significant role in connecting various regions of India, continually seeks to enhance its services to meet passenger needs.

These additional coaches in key trains demonstrate the Railways’ commitment to providing a more comfortable and accessible travel experience for its passengers.
