Justice S. Chandrashekhar to Lead Jharkhand High Court

New Appointment Follows Retirement of Chief Justice Mishra

Justice S. Chandrashekhar appointed as acting Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court, starting December 29, following the retirement of Justice Sanjay Kumar Mishra.

JAMSHEDPUR – Justice S. Chandrashekhar, Judge of the Jharkhand High Court, has been appointed to effectively perform the duties of the office of Chief Justice of that High Court.

His tenure begins from December 29th.

This appointment follows the retirement of Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court, Justice Sanjay Kumar Mishra, who is set to retire on December 28, 2023.

The President issued the order for Justice Chandrashekhar to assume the responsibilities.
