In a landmark cricket encounter at Chennai’s Chepak Stadium, the CII Young Indians National XI secured a stunning eight-wicket victory against the IPL champions, Chennai Super Kings, highlighting the significance of the YI ‘Masoom Cup 2023’ in combating child sexual abuse.

JAMSHEDPUR – In a remarkable display of skill and commitment, the Young Indians National XI, led by the exceptional performances of Mukesh Gilada and Rishabh Khaitan, overcame Chennai Super Kings in a high-stakes 10-over cricket match.

The duo each scored an impressive 45 runs, playing a pivotal role in chasing down the formidable target of 114 runs set by the Chennai team.

Mukesh Gilada’s stellar performance was particularly noteworthy, earning him the prestigious Player of the Match title.

The match was a part of the YI ‘Masoom Cup 2023,’ a collaborative effort between the Young Indians and Chennai Super Kings to raise awareness about child sexual abuse.

This initiative underlines the commitment of both organizations to address and combat physical and digital sexual harassment of children.

Harshil Dokania, a distinguished member from YI Jamshedpur, earned his place in the Young Indians team, selected from among members across 65 Young Indians chapters.
