JAMSHEDPUR – In a distressing incident in Shastri Nagar Block 1, local auto driver Sandeep Kumar’s vehicle was deliberately set on fire, causing him significant hardship.
Kumar, a resident of Basti, routinely parked his auto alongside other vehicles on the roadside.
Late at night, unidentified miscreants singled out his auto for destruction, burning it to ashes.
Despite many vehicles being parked in the area, only Kumar’s auto was targeted in this act of vandalism.
The loss of his auto, estimated between ₹50,000 to ₹60,000, has put Kumar in a precarious financial position.
For Kumar, who depended on his auto for his livelihood, this incident has jeopardized his ability to support his family.
Following the incident, Kumar filed a complaint at the local police station, seeking justice and assistance.
This act of arson has not only affected Kumar’s income but has also raised concerns about safety and crime in the area.
The local residents said they are now grappling with the implications of this targeted attack, which has left one of their own in a state of despair.
