The fifth season of Bhojpuri Cricket League commenced with a grand start, featuring exciting match wins and notable performances.

JAMSHEDPUR – Golmuri’s Cable Cricket Ground witnessed the grand inauguration of the fifth season of the Bhojpuri Cricket League on Tuesday.

Distinguished guests such as former police superintendent Kamal Kishore, ex-BJP district president Dinesh Kumar, and social workers Shivshankar Singh and Vikas Singh graced the event.

The opening day saw five teams – Maidens XI, Veer Elevens, Fighters Eleven, Sai XI, and SYBC – securing victories in their matches.

During the ceremony, the guests lauded the efforts of Bhojpuri Navchetna Manch in organizing this event, emphasizing its significance.

Players like Appu Tiwari, JP Singh, Rishabh Singh, Ankit Anand, Vikram Pandit, Ajay Behera, Chittaranjan Singh, Chanakya Shah, Vikas Kumar, Rohit Sharma Bittu, Roshan Kumar Singh, and Manoj Sharma delivered remarkable performances.

Their contributions were pivotal in the success of the opening day, setting a high standard for the tournament.

The Bhojpuri Cricket League, now in its fifth season, continues to be a platform that showcases local talent and fosters a spirit of sportsmanship in the region.
