JAMSHEDPUR – The prestigious All India Bhojpuri Sahitya Sammelan’s 27th edition commenced with a grand inaugural ceremony at Tulsi Bhawan in Jamshedpur, graced by Union Minister Arjun Munda.
Minister Munda, during the inauguration, emphasized the cultural and literary richness of the Bhojpuri language and its global impact.
He reflected on the diversity of India’s literary traditions, underscoring their collective strength on the world stage.
The event saw the unveiling of several books, enriching the Bhojpuri literary landscape.
Smrika Mishra’s team set a captivating tone with a mesmerizing Ganesh Vandana performance.
The Rangashri team from Delhi brought a reflective dimension with their drama “Mindset,” penned by Mahendra Pratap Singh.
Local singer Virendra Upadhyay added a musical essence to the event, performing soul-stirring songs during the ceremonial lamp lighting.
The Sammelan also included pivotal meetings of the Select Committee and the Standing Committee, encouraging dialogue and literary exchange among enthusiasts.
