Jharkhand Govt Sends Show Cause Letters for Poor Performance
Lagging Districts in Aapki Sarkar Aapke Dwar Initiative Warned by Jharkhand Government
Jharkhand government issues show cause letters to three districts for underperforming in the Aapki Sarkar Aapke Dwar initiative.
RANCHI – The Jharkhand state government has taken a stern approach towards three districts exhibiting poor performance in the Aapki Sarkar Aapke Dwar initiative.
Show cause letters have been dispatched to the Deputy Commissioners of Palamu, West Singhbhum, and Chatra, highlighting significant implementation lapses in the program.
According to recent reports, these districts have shown minimal progress: Palamu at 0.94%, West Singhbhum at 0.82%, and Chatra at a mere 0.66%.
This underperformance starkly contrasts with the leading districts, where Simdega has achieved a 29% development rate, followed by Jamtara at 20%, and Lohardaga district at 16%.
The disparity in performance levels has prompted the state government to seek explanations from the lagging districts’ administrative heads, signaling a need for immediate corrective measures.
JMM sources said that this action underscores the government’s commitment to the success of the Aapki Sarkar Aapke Dwar initiative, a crucial program aimed at driving development and ensuring efficient governance at the grassroots level.
