JAMSHEDPUR – Chauda Raju, a suspect in a murder case involving a Tiger jawan and a businessman, faces imminent demolition of his house located near Jawahar Nagar Road No. 16 in the Mango police station area.
The notice for demolition was issued under the Encroachment Act, targeting a property built on government land.
Mango region authorities have initiated the process, marking a significant development in the case.
The house, situated on 10.74 decimal land in Mango Ward No. 8, is reportedly built on government-owned property.
The notice, affixed to Plot No. 207, Khata No. 1249 of Ward No. 8, demands a response within 14 days to avoid unilateral action.
The notice questions the legitimacy of the encroachment and calls for its removal.
Chauda Raju, accused in the murders near Mango Nature Park, has allegedly been captured by police in Haldia, West Bengal.
Currently under police interrogation, unconfirmed sources suggest Raju may already be in the police custody or may have surrendered. However, this has not been confirmed yet.
A weapon has allegedly also been recovered from him.
A Jamshedpur Police team is most likely en route to bring Raju back on remand.
Authorities anticipate bringing Raju to Jamshedpur by Friday for further investigation.
The police aim to unravel the truth behind the murders during the interrogation.
