JAMSHEDPUR – The Jamshedpur police have arrested Syed Amanullah and Shahnawaz following a shooting incident.
The incident occurred near Fatmi Masjid under the Azad Nagar police station.
City SP Mukesh Kumar Lunayat revealed the arrests and the recovery of the weapon.
The shooting stemmed from a personal dispute involving the accused and the victim, Mohammad Shahid.
Amanullah, a contractor, and Shahid, an electrician, had argued over work disagreements.
The altercation escalated, resulting in Shahid being shot in the head.
Aman had purchased the weapon used in the incident in Gorakhpur in 2021.
This arrest highlights the police’s efforts to swiftly address and resolve violent crimes.
