Jamshedpur Prepares for 21st Shyam Mahotsav with Bhoomi Pujan and Star-studded Bhajan Lineup
JAMSHEDPUR – On Thursday, 21st December, Shri Shyam Seva Sangh Sonari commenced the 21st Shyam Mahotsav celebrations with a Bhoomi Pujan ceremony.
The auspicious event, marking the start of pandal construction, took place in the ground behind Sonari Junior Carmel School.
Ashok Diwan, President of the Sangh, announced that the festival would feature acclaimed artists Vivek Sharma from Kolkata and Roma Nishad from Prayagraj.
They will perform Rajasthani Dhamalo and other bhajans, adding spiritual fervor to the event.
The pandal, a central element of the festival, will be adorned by skilled artisans from Bengal.
Highlights of the Shyam Mahotsav include Akhand Jyot, collective Aarti, the offering of Makhan Mishri, and elaborate electrical decorations.
Shobha Yatra coupons, integral to the festivities, will be available from various local vendors, including Santosh Utensil Store, Girdhari Khemka, Sapna Distributor, Sharda Agency, Shyam Mitra Mandal, and others.
Prominent community members such as Jeetendra Sabu, Amit Agarwal, and Rajesh Todi, among others, attended the ceremony.
