CBSE Board Exams 2024 to Span From February 15 to April 2

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the detailed date sheet for the 2024 Class X and XII board examinations, spanning from February 15 to April 2, 2024, and featuring a broad spectrum of subjects.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially released the exam timetable for the 2024 board examinations, covering both class X and XII.

The board exams for class X are set to commence on February 19, 2024, starting with Sanskrit, and will conclude with Information Technology on March 13.

Class XII board exams will begin on February 22 with the English paper and will culminate in the Computer Science exam on April 2.

Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj emphasized that the schedule was meticulously crafted to ensure adequate gaps between exams and to consider dates of competitive exams like JEE.

The date sheet encompasses a diverse range of subjects, including Biotechnology, various Dance forms, Hindi, English, and more.

For class X, key subjects like Hindi, English, Science, Home Science, Social Science, and Mathematics are scheduled between February 21 and March 11.

The class XII Science stream date sheet includes major subjects like Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Physical Education, and Biology, scheduled between February 27 and March 19.

All exams will uniformly begin at 10:30 AM (IST).

The comprehensive schedule, including subject codes, exam dates, and timings, is available for download on the CBSE’s official website.

The announcement follows a notice issued in July 2023, confirming the exam period of 55 days, starting from February 15 to April 10.
