Clash Over Driving Escalates to Violence in Jamshedpur

In a tragic turn of events in Jamshedpur, a dispute over rash driving among children leads to a grievous attack and injuries.

JAMSHEDPUR – Late on Friday evening, a violent clash erupted on Old Purulia Road No. 3, Rahim Palace, under the Azad Nagar police station jurisdiction.

The conflict, initially sparked by a dispute over rash driving involving children, escalated dramatically.

Farooq, a local resident, was severely attacked in the incident, resulting in grievous injuries.

In addition to Farooq, two other individuals from both sides sustained injuries.

The police, upon notification, rushed the critically injured Farooq to MGM Hospital for emergency treatment.

Concurrently, members of the opposing party reported the incident at the Azad Nagar police station.

Farooq accused individuals named approximately 10-15 others of orchestrating the attack.

The conflict reportedly began with Farooq’s younger brother, Rehan, over an issue of rash driving.

Following the initial altercation, a large group returned to the scene, attacking Farooq upon his return from Ranchi.

Farooq’s attempt to intervene led to the violent assault.

Eyewitnesses reported that the assailants tried to force Farooq into a car, but fled when locals gathered due to the commotion.

The police are actively investigating the incident to ascertain the full details and apprehend those responsible.
