Joba Manjhi Files Nomination, Strikes Defiant Tone Against BJP in Singhbhum

India Alliance candidate emphasizes protection of tribal rights and natural resources in upcoming elections

Following her nomination filing for the Singhbhum seat, Joba Manjhi of the India Alliance delivered a fervent speech targeting the BJP and rallying support for her party. She highlighted the critical nature of the forthcoming election, describing it as essential for preserving the state’s dignity and honoring the legacy of the former CM Hemant Soren.

CHAIBASA – Manjhi urged the electorate to support the bow and arrow symbol, which represents the alliance’s dedication to defending tribal rights and the state’s natural resources.

She stressed the alliance’s role in advocating for the interests of Jharkhand’s indigenous communities, referencing the enduring efforts of leaders such as the late Devendra Manjhi and Dishom Guru Shibu Soren.

Manjhi warned against the BJP’s policies, which he claimed threaten to undermine constitutional safeguards for tribal rights, particularly concerning the ownership of forest lands.

She called on voters to oppose the BJP’s agenda, underlining the need to maintain control over tribal lands and resources.

Echoing Manjhi’s call to action, Chief Minister Champai Soren expressed confidence in the alliance’s strength across Kolhan, committing to a robust challenge against BJP dominance in the region. Soren’s pledge to win all 14 seats in Jharkhand marks a united effort to resist BJP’s policies and ensure the voice of the tribal population is heard.
