A fierce gunfight erupts in broad daylight between two groups near Jamshedpur’s Mango Chowk, inciting panic among locals.

JAMSHEDPUR – An alarming incident transpired near Mango Chowk, under the jurisdiction of Mango police station, on Friday morning.

A ferocious gunfight ensued between two groups, triggering widespread fear among the local population.

Notably, no casualties were reported from the incident.

Reacting swiftly to the incident, Mango police arrived on the scene to initiate an investigation.

Three kiosks were recovered from the vicinity.

The confrontation reportedly started around 6.20 am when a group of youths confronted a young man with a weapon.

Seeing this, the members of the opposing group drew their weapons, escalating the situation into a full-blown shootout.

The firing incident in broad daylight on a busy road caused panic among the residents.

After some time, individuals from both groups fled the scene.

It is estimated that 7 to 8 rounds were fired during the shootout.

All the individuals involved are believed to be residents of Mango.
