Adra Division Rail Revamp Affects Multiple Trains
Rail Services Altered in Adra for Developmental Works
Adra Division’s ongoing developmental activities prompt train service modifications, impacting schedules and routes.
JAMSHEDPUR – In light of developmental activities in the Adra Division of the South Eastern Railway, significant changes have been announced in train services.
The 08671/08672 Adra-Bhaga-Adra MEMU Special, scheduled for 20th, 22nd, 24th, and 26th November 2023, will be cancelled.
Train routes are also being adjusted. The 08680/08679 Adra-Midnapur-Adra MEMU Special, due to run on 21st, 24th, and 26th November, will now terminate and originate from Bankura, while on 25th November, this will happen from Bishnupur.
Additionally, the 03594/03593 Asansol-Purulia-Asansol MEMU Special, operating from 20th to 26th November, will have Adra as its new termination and origination point.
Moreover, the 18035/18036 Kharagpur-Hatia-Kharagpur Express, scheduled for 25th November, will also terminate and originate from Adra.
In a significant diversion, the 18601 Tatanagar-Hatia Express, set to commence on 20th, 22nd, 24th, and 26th November, will follow a rerouted path via Chandil-Gunda Bihar-Muri.
Lastly, the 18036 Hatia-Kharagpur Express, due on 20th November, will see a rescheduling, with its departure from Hatia pushed to 09:50 hrs from the earlier 08:50 hrs.
