Jharkhand’s Health Minister intensifies Chhath prep; inspects ghats for festival readiness.
JAMSHEDPUR – The Health Minister of Jharkhand and MLA from Jamshedpur East took hands-on action today at the Chhath Ghat in Mango.
He not only observed but also actively participated in the clean-up drive.
During the visit to Chanakyapuri Chhath Ghat, he worked alongside citizens, contributing to the community effort.
The minister highlighted the communal work as a donation of labor in the spirit of the festival.
He provided explicit instructions to Mango Municipal Corporation officials to expedite cleaning and restoration of facilities.
Focus was given to electrical setups and privacy arrangements for changing clothes.
Additional directions were issued to ensure room availability and improved transportation for devotees.
This follows his visit five days ago to multiple ghats in Sonari and Kadma.
Post-inspection, he reassured Chhath vratis, promising a worry-free Chhath Puja and infrastructure readiness.
His tour included Sonari Domuhani, Kadma Sati, and Neel Sarovar Ghats, where he ordered repair and preparation works for the upcoming festivities.
