Covid-19 takes 8 lives in East Singhbhum, total death toll 218

141 more people test positive, total infections now 5614, 146 cured too

Jamshedpur: Covid-19 has taken 8 lives in East Singhbhum on Tuesday. With this the total death toll for the city has reached 218.

On the other hand, 141 more persons have tested positive in the district taking the number of total positives in the district to 5614.

According to data received from official sources, today 243 samples were taken, taking the total number of samples collected in the district to 68,381. Out of these 141 samples today were found positive.

Till date, 57,432 samples have tested negative and 5,614 samples have tested positive.

On the other hand, 146 patients were also cured and discharged from hospitals on Tuesday. Till date, 3,344 patients have been cured and discharged in East Singhbhum district.
