Environmental Experts from India, US to Present Research at Two-Day International Meet

JAMSHEDPUR – DBMS College of Education is organizing a landmark international conference on environmental protection through education on December 13-14.

The conference titled “Harnessing the Power of Education to Embrace and Adopt Green Initiatives” has received sponsorship from Tata Steel.

“This conference marks a milestone for environmental education in the city,” said Dr. Joohi Samarpita, Principal of DBMS College.

Distinguished Guests

MLA Saryu Roy will grace the event as Chief Guest.

Dr. Hari Kumar Kesari, Vice Chancellor of Kolhan University, will be the patron.

The conference will feature experts like Dr. Apratim Sahay from Johns Hopkins University.

Environmental Initiatives

Seven NGOs including Praxis and Vinisha will showcase their green projects.

Nandan Mall, CEO of Hulladek Recycling, will attend as Chief Guest for closing.

Moreover, Tata Steel UISL will present their pollution control efforts.

Research Presentations

The conference will feature presentations on zero waste practices.

Professor Dr. Sharad Sarin from XLRI will chair technical sessions.

In addition, a refereed journal compiling research papers will be released.

The event aims to inspire active community participation in environmental preservation.
