RANCHI – Bharatiya Jan Morcha (BJM) leader and Jamshedpur East MLA, Saryu Roy, reinforced the importance of political transparency and grassroots engagement during a workers conference organized by his party in Ranchi this past Sunday.
The assembly aimed at galvanizing party workers ahead of potential civic movements, resonating with Roy’s longstanding advocacy against corruption.
Saryu Roy, known for his fervent anti-corruption stance, had previously organized a similar conference on October 11, marking the birth anniversary of Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan, a stalwart against political corruption.

The conference underscored the rampant political and economic corruption plaguing Jharkhand and stressed the urgency of public mobilization against such malpractices.
In a recent endeavor to foster transparency, Roy sought a thorough review of the arms licensing process in East Singhbhum, shedding light on the systemic issues within administrative frameworks.
Furthermore, his call for a coordinated approach between the Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) and Tata Steel for the city’s judicious development reflects his vision for a balanced growth and civic engagement in urban planning initiatives.
Roy’s continuous efforts highlight a crucial narrative of combating corruption and fostering a participatory governance model, intertwining political integrity with community involvement for a robust democratic framework in Jharkhand.
