State Health Minister Banna Gupta lauds BJP leader Raghubar Das’s new role as Governor of Odisha, heralding it as a pivotal moment for Jharkhand and the Kolhan division.

JAMSHEDPUR – State Health Minister Banna Gupta visited the residence of senior leader and former Chief Minister Raghubar Das to extend his congratulations on Das’s recent nomination as Governor of Odisha.

Gupta remarked that this is perhaps the first time since the formation of Jharkhand that a local leader has been bestowed with such an esteemed position.

The minister emphasized that Das’s nomination is a source of pride not only for him but for the entire Kolhan division and the state of Jharkhand as well.

During the meeting, Gupta expressed confidence that the Odisha Raj Bhavan would benefit from Das’s impartial leadership.

He also stated that the state of Odisha stands to gain from Das’s extensive political experience.

Gupta added that this appointment underlines the robustness of Indian democracy, where public representatives can set aside party affiliations to respect and honor each other’s achievements.
