7 New Dengue Cases Across Various Localities in Jamshedpur; Hospital Discharges 53 Patients as Recovery Rate Improves
Seven new dengue cases were identified today in Jamshedpur, elevating concerns regarding the outbreak, even as 53 patients were discharged from the hospital.
JAMSHEDPUR – In a continuing concern on health front, seven new dengue cases were confirmed in the district today, according to the sample test conducted on October 17.
These cases were found scattered across various localities such as Harhargut, Jugsalai, Daiguttu Mango, Parsudih, Telko, Kadma, and Sakchi.
In total, 13,010 people in the Kolhan division have tested positive for dengue out of 10,775 samples tested so far.
Amid this challenging scenario, there is a silver lining as 53 patients were discharged from the hospital today.
At present, 123 people are undergoing treatment in the hospital, with eight admitted to the ICU and 115 in the general ward.
