Decade-Old Dilapidated Jamshedpur Road to Get Revamp, MLA Kalindi Confirms

Engineers Survey 8-KM Jamshedpur Road in MLA Mangal Kalindi’s Presence; Respite in Sight for Commuters

Engineers and MLA Mangal Kalindi survey 8-km road stretch in Jamshedpur for much-needed reconstruction, aiming to reduce accidents and travel time.

JAMSHEDPUR – After a decade of disrepair, the 8-kilometer road stretch from Parsudih Khas Mahal to Govindpur via Parsudih Bazaar is poised for a major overhaul.

Engineers from the Road Construction Department, along with MLA Mangal Kalindi, recently conducted a detailed survey of the area.

The road’s current condition has been a significant cause for concern, leading to frequent accidents and elongated travel times.

Residents, who should be able to complete a 10-minute journey, are taking up to an hour due to the road’s poor state.

Interestingly, the road was initially constructed under the governance of current Chief Minister Hemant Soren in 2013, and it’s under his current tenure that the road will be reconstructed.

MLA Mangal Kalindi stated that efforts have been ongoing to alleviate the transportation woes in the area since his government took charge.

The Chief Minister responded swiftly to his concerns, instructing the Secretary of the Road Construction Department to address the issue.

Kalindi also criticized those who are currently protesting the state of the road, accusing them of trying to "throw dust in the eyes of the common people."
