RAF 106 Battalion Honors Heroes in Sundernagar Ceremony
Sundarnagar witnesses tribute to Bravehearts by RAF 106 Battalion; the community joins in honoring heroes, strengthening national unity, and patriotism.
JAMSHEDPUR – RAF 106 Battalion paid rich tributes to its heroes who have fallen in the service of the nation.
At the event, officials including Shailendra Kumar, Second-in-Command, and Sachidanand Mishra were present along with other authorities.
The ceremony showcased the commitment of the martyrs in maintaining the strength and integrity of the country, and how their sacrifices have contributed to national unity.
Additionally, the program aimed to bolster societal patriotism and a sense of national solidarity, with an emphasis on honoring the heroes who gave their lives for the country.
The Anjali District Youth Officer received an Amrit Kalash as a gesture of thanks for the group’s proactive efforts in the community.
Veterans and freedom fighters were honored at the event, recognizing their vital role in preserving national integrity and unity.
The Commandant of the 106 Battalion, Dr. Nishith Kumar, along with all other officers and members of the unit, participated in paying tribute to the Bravehearts.
Local villagers, veterans, and freedom fighters collaborated in honoring the heroes by presenting an urn filled with dirt collected from various community locations.
The RAF 106 Battalion marked Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav with twin campaigns, "Meri Mati Mera Desh" and "Har Ghar Tiranga," in a ceremony held at its Sundarnagar camp on Monday, to commemorate and respect the lives given in defense of national unity.
