Mysterious Death of Adityapur Woman Leads to Investigation

A woman’s death at Bada Gamharia Baganpada triggers murder allegations; police await a post-mortem report after family members report conflicting stories.

JAMSHEDPUR – The cops are still awaiting the post-mortem report as the investigation continues into the death of S Mallick, who was found dead in a mysterious manner at her home.

The maternal relatives of the woman have charged the deceased’s mother-in-law, R Mallick, and her brother-in-law J Mallick with foul play. The suspicion grew after discovering the deceased with a noose around her neck.

In response to this discovery, the brother-in-law claimed that his sister had killed herself. It led to conflicting stories among family members, creating confusion in the situation.

The deceased’s spouse J Mallick notified the woman’s cousin V Paul this morning that she had passed away owing to bad health, but when he arrived, he saw the noose.

When the woman’s parents learned of the situation, they called the police and reported it as a murder.

The police located the information, filed a report, and began their investigation in Bada Gamharia Baganpada within the jurisdiction of the Adityapur police station.
