JCAPCPL Partners with Ampin Energy for Solar Power Project

JAMSHEDPUR – In a significant move towards environmental sustainability, Jamshedpur Continuous Annealing & Processing Company Private Limited (JCAPCPL) has signed a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Ampin Energy Transition (previously known as Amp Energy India) for the installation of solar panels on the plant’s rooftop.

This noteworthy partnership is indicative of the company’s ongoing commitment to green energy initiatives and reducing its carbon footprint.

Agreement Details

The agreement, which will pave the way for the installation of solar panels with a substantial capacity of 2.8 MWp, was signed by Pinaki Bhattacharyya, the managing director and CEO of Ampin Energy, and Ujjal Chakraborti, the managing director of JCAPCPL.

JCAPCPL’s decision to invest in clean, renewable energy highlights the company’s status as an industry leader in sustainable business practices.
